Dickens Christmas Festival
This holiday season, get transported back to the 1800s and experience “Christmas past” at the SLC Dickens Christmas Festival 2021. This is not your typical craft show: It is a unique market experience set in the Victorian Era—complete with Olde English shops, Victorian costumes, and Father Christmas! Come see the unique shops and vendors while you wander the streets of Olde London. The event will be November 18–20, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City, not far from West Valley City. Get your tickets here.
Here Comes Santa Claus!
What better way to get in the holiday mood with your family than to listen to your favorite holiday music and enjoy a visit from Santa Claus? On December 18 at 11:30 a.m., the Utah Symphony will be performing at Abravanel Hall near West Valley City in Salt Lake. With holiday classics performed on stage as well as a joyful sing-along to finish it off, this is a great family activity, perfect for all ages.
